Show Notes

Welcome to another episode in the “Women in Psychedelics" series. This podcast series does an amazing job of telling the stories of fascinating women who are currently making an impact within the psychedelic and plant healing movement.

My intention for this series is to further amplify female voices within this space. I am driven by bringing to the forefront untold stories, exclusive content, and inspiration. This month to me is about offering and celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and sometimes the unseen achievements of women in this psychedelic renaissance.

Part four in the series “Women in Psychedelics” I have invited Rev. Mkali R. Carole Dansi, Ph.D. an unapologetically Black African, is known as The Holistic SommeLier, a Storytell-her, Activist, Diplomat, and Entrepreneur.

A blend of civilizations, cultures, and races, Her story was heavily influenced by a curated mix of African Ancestral traditions and Modern World views from a long Family Legacy. Immersed in the spiritualities and religions of the world from birth, her experience was shared with thousands of souls across the world.

In this episode, Mkali Carole discusses:

  • The meaning of her name and title as a tribe woman
  • Growing up in Africa and the contrast with her experiences in the US
  • The roots of her Afrikan ancestral-line
  • The healing medicine of plants
  • Sacred Tabacco Mapacho as an ancient medicine
  • The healing journey of oneself
  • The masculine energy work and the coloration to the Femini
  • Duality and the beliefs that amplify it
  • Family constellation and facilitating with the medicine work
  • Our personal healing journey through our ancestors and the shame attached to suppression
  • The under-representation of women of color in the medicine work and public stage
  • The Bwiti Fang traditions
  • New-season coming in, and new modalities of healing coming in our awareness
